Peru: Over 61.2 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

61,314,399 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported.

Out of that total, 23,983,441 were given as second dose.
Within this framework, 9,925,661 citizens have been vaccinated with a booster dose.

This figure represents 69.2% of the vulnerable population.

It also accounts for 30.28% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.
