Peru: Over 60.5 million COVID-19 vaccine doses applied

60,638,282 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 have been so far administered in Peru, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) has reported.

Out of that total, 23,760,921 were given as second dose.
Within this framework, 9,650,245 citizens have been vaccinated with a booster dose.

This figure represents 68.6% of the vulnerable population.

It also accounts for 29.44% of the general population, the leading government authority in the health sector said in its daily report.
