The
President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Friday evening administered the oath of office to Oscar Maurtua, who has become Minister of Foreign Affairs of Peru.
Thus, the recently sworn-in government official is now part of the Cabinet led by Prime Minister Guido Bellido.
For his part, Maurtua already served as Foreign Affairs Minister between 2005 and 2006.
The ceremony was held at the Government Palace in Lima.
