The
President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Monday afternoon administered the oath of office to Emilio Gustavo Arturo Sandro Edmundo Bobbio Rosas, who has become Minister of Defense of Peru.
The new sector's head replaces Daniel Barragan in the position.
The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Government Palace in Lima.
