The Peruvian Government
has made official the restrictive measures that will apply nationwide from April 19 to May 9 and extended the state of national emergency from May 1 for 31 days, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In this sense, the exercise of constitutional rights relating to personal freedom and security, inviolability of homes, and freedom of assembly, as well as transit across the national territory, are restricted.
The list of provinces at moderate, high, very high, and extreme risk has been updated.
It should be noted that Lima and Callao are at the extreme risk level once again. Thus, their residents will be prohibited from going outside on Sundays.
