Peru moves to Economic Reactivation's Phase 4

Phase 4 of the Economic Reactivation gradually starts today, with the resumption of activities and the expansion of capacity for already-authorized businesses, in accordance with Supreme Decree No. 157-2020-PCM.

Below is the list of allowed activities:

-Stores in general offering a capacity of 60%.

-Restaurant and related services (50%), except bars.

-Maritime transportation and passenger cabotage services (50%), but not tourist transportation.

-Passenger and cargo transportation services by inland waterways through rivers and lakes (50%).

-Travel agency and tour operator services.

-Libraries and archive-related activities (60%).

-Activities and management of museums; pre-Hispanic archaeological monuments; historic sites and buildings; galleries and cultural centers (60%). They do not include cinema or theaters.

-Activities at botanical and zoological gardens, in addition to national parks (60%).

-Theme Park-related activities (60%).

-Activities at sport clubs and associations (50%).

-Sport fishing and nautical sports, management of reserves and support activities, as well as mountain guiding activities (50%).


According to the regulation, all these activities must respect measures such as social distancing and the use of face masks.

The implementation of these activities will be completed progressively, taking into account the essential criteria for the gradual and progressive implementation of the corresponding phases.
