Justice and Human Rights Minister Ana Teresa Revilla on Tuesday affirmed that the dream of shaping a democratic, equitable, and supportive Peru is not just the responsibility of public officials, but also of every citizen.
In the ceremony to celebrate the Human Rights Week, the dignitary participated in the recognition of personalities and public organizations for
their efforts defending human rights.
"The dream of building a democratic, equitable, and supportive country is not just the responsibility of public officials but also of all of us. Therefore, I am delighted to recognize the people who defend human rights," the cabinet member expressed.
In this sense, she noted it is necessary to guarantee everybody's rights.
The event was held at the Justice-Human Rights Ministry headquarters in the capital city of Lima.
