Peru: Judiciary Chair meets with World Bank officials

The Chair of the Judicial Branch, Javier Arevalo, on Monday met World Bank's Operations Manager for Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru, Pilar Maisterra.

According to the institution's Twitter account, the meeting also included Supreme Judge Hector Lama, Judiciary's General Manager Jaime Gomez, and other World Bank officials.


Held on January 3, the inauguration ceremony coincided with the Opening of the Judicial Year 2023, to which authorities of the main State institutions were invited.

For her part, Pilar Maisterra is responsible for overseeing the preparation and implementation of the World Bank's portfolio and managing the World Bank office in Peru.  

Between 2018 and 2021, Ms. Maisterra served as Manager of Strategy, Risk and Country Operations in the Operational Policy and Country Services Vice Presidency.
