Peru is now the world largest
exporter of blueberries, asparagus, and
quinoa, due to diversification policy of target markets, Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Edgar Vasquez said on Thursday.
Likewise, he emphasized the South American country has witnessed a record in the production of agro-industry and non-traditional fishing sectors, as well as in sales of 732 national products.
Our value-added exports have increased seven-fold from a few years ago, thus diversifying products and destinations.
Vasquez asserted that free trade agreements have allowed the country to reduce the impacts on difficult scenarios and make the most of the opportunities in good times.
