The Peruvian Government highlighted the agreement signed with the United States in order to receive a donation of 2 million doses of the Pfizer COVID-10 vaccine in the coming days.

The donation is intended to support the vaccination campaign against the novel coronavirus in the country.

In a Tweet, Peru's Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked the Government and people of the United States for this generous gesture of solidarity.

Peru is the fourth Latin American country to receive a donation as part of President Joe Biden's commitment to share 80 million doses of the United States' vaccine supply with the world.

Of this total, more than 20 million doses will be sent to nations across Latin America and the Caribbean.
