The Peruvian Government on Monday paid a special homage to
on their day, thanking them for their efforts to provide quality products.
In this sense, the Peruvian Government noted farmers are "the guardians of our land."
"Today is a very special day. It is the opportunity to honor farmers who give us —with their efforts— quality products and contribute to the growth of our country. To them, we wish them a Happy Farmer's Day!" it expressed via social media.
Since 1969, Farmer's Day is celebrated in the entire Inca country, a date that is commemorated in many regions with parties and traditional dances.
