Peru's Executive Branch has been working —within the framework of the powers granted by Congress— on a plan to quickly boost public investment, Economy and Finance Minister Maria Antonieta Alva reported on Wednesday.
"The way, in which we are going to start the economic engines, has to be properly coordinated with the health sector," she expressed.
In this sense, the high-ranking official clarified that the health strategy will go hand-in-hand with the economic one.
"We (the Executive Branch members) are working, within the framework of the powers that have been granted to us, on the reactivating plans for public and private investment," Alva told Radio Exitosa.
Reconstruction is also being considered for sectors that are being hit hard, such as tourism. "More than a reactivation, it will require a reconstruction," she indicated.
Lastly, the cabinet member emphasized that —from the Government— no efforts will be spared to move forward.
