The Executive Branch, through the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has ended the terms of Peruvian Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to El Salvador (and Belize), Jamaica, Guyana, and the Philippines.
According to the supreme resolutions published in the Official Gazette El Peruano on Tuesday, the end date of these officials' terms will be set via ministerial resolution.
In accordance with
Supreme Resolution No. 214-2025-RE, the duties of Jorge Antonio Rosado La Torre, a Minister in the Diplomatic Service of the Republic, as Peru's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of El Salvador and Belize have been terminated.
Likewise,
pursuant to Supreme Resolution No. 215-2025-RE, the duties of Mario Juvenal Lopez Chavarri, an Ambassador in the Diplomatic Service of the Republic, as Peru's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Jamaica have been terminated.
Similarly,
through Supreme Resolution No. 216-2025-RE, the duties of Claudia Giuliana Betalleluz Otiura, an Ambassador in the Diplomatic Service of the Republic, as Peru's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Co-operative Republic of Guyana have been terminated.
Lastly,
under Supreme Resolution No. 217-2025-RE, the duties of Cecilia Zunilda Galarreta Bazan, an Ambassador in the Diplomatic Service of the Republic, as Peru's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of the Philippines have been terminated.
Moreover,
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through Ministerial Resolution No. 0938-2025-RE, appointed Peruvian representatives to the Executive Board of the Binational Plan for the Development of the Peru–Ecuador Border Region, the Board of Directors of the Peru–Ecuador Binational Fund for Peace and Development, and the Peru–Ecuador Binational Group for the Promotion of Private Investment.
At the same time, it repealed Ministerial Resolution No. 0616-2023-RE.
