13:46 | Lima, Jul. 9.

The properties of two former Energy and Mines Ministers, ex-Deputy Ministers, and ex-officials from this sector are included in the raids carried out on Tuesday, within the framework of the investigations on the Southern Gas Pipeline (Gasoducto del Sur) Project in Peru.

Judge Juan Carlos Sanchez ordered said measure against 26 properties, including the home of former First Lady Nadine Heredia —wife of ex-President Ollanta Humala, who served between 2011-2016.

The former Energy and Mines Ministers involved in the matter are Rosa Maria Ortiz (2015-2016) and Juan Valdivia (2006-2008) —the latter served under ex-President Alan Garcia (2006-2011), as well as ex-Deputy Energy Ministers Luis Enrique Ortigas and Dicky Edwin Quintanilla (Humala's term in office).

The raids also included the properties of Percy Olivas, Erick Portugues, and Luis Vicente Zavaleta (former official of the Energy and Mines Ministry's Hydrocarbons General Management).

Likewise, ex-Energy and Mines Ministry officials Omar Dueñas and Fernando Pomatailla are among the people involved.

Furthermore, the properties of former members of ProInversion's Energy Security Committee Gustavo Navarro, Edgard Valvidia, and Maria del Rosario Patiño were raided.

Ana Sofia Reyna, Manilo Bassino, Uldarico Ossio, Jorge Elias Danos, Omar Dueñas, Luis Reynaldo Peschiera, and Elda Patricia Diaz have been linked to the law firms under investigation.
