Peru's Foreign Affairs Minister Gustavo Meza-Cuadra will meet his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi during a working visit to the city of Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China.
The meeting will address various bilateral issues in the political, economic, commercial, financial, and cultural fields, among others.
The document bears the signatures of Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra, Prime Minister Vicente Zeballos, and the Foreign Affairs Minister himself.
In Beijing, Meza-Cuadra will attend the "
Ancient Civilizations Forum," which is of political and cultural importance to Peru, as it gathers several countries of global influence, with which the Andean nation may coordinate international or bilateral initiatives.
Since the forum's first edition in Athens, Peru has expressed its intention to host such event in 2020.
