Peru: Exports among Andean Community members up 20.5% in Jan-Nov 2018

Exports among Andean Community (CAN) members —Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru— totaled US$8.203 billion between January and November 2018, thus increasing 20.5% over the same period the previous year.

According to CAN General Secretariat's Statistics Unit, intra-community exports from the following countries rose: Bolivia (38.3%), Ecuador (22.4%), Colombia (21.9%), and Peru (10.4%).

The most demanded intra-community products exported in the aforementioned period included crude petroleum oil; soybean cakes and solid residues; animal feed; soybean oil and its fractions; refined copper wires; as well as crude palm oil; among others.

Andean exports 

Likewise, shipments from Andean Community (CAN) members to the rest of the world totaled US$109.503 billion between January and November 2018, a 13.5% rise over the same period in 2017.
