Peru: Environment Min tests positive for COVID-19

The Peruvian Ministry of Environment on Friday reported that the sector's head Gabriel Quijandria tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

In a statement, the government agency indicated that the official will comply with social isolation guidelines at the Lima-based Pan American Village.

He is considered a vulnerable patient as the result of a surgical intervention and the recommendation of doctors for his speedy recovery.
