Peru's national production grew 2.13% in September this year, thus marking 110 months of continuous growth, National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) informed on Thursday.
Likewise, the
national production expanded 3.64% in January-September and 3.30% in the last 12-month period (October 2017-September 2018).
Goods from
fishing,
farming, and non-metallic mining sectors stood out.
Another highlight was the domestic demand recovery reflected in
higher retail sales (2.69%) and consumer loans (9.90%).
Furthermore, INEI emphasized contributions from transport, storage, and communications (+4.49%); farming (+4.4%); trade (+1.41%); services supplied to companies (+3.11%); and manufacture (+1.19%).
