—one week before the runoff election scheduled for June 6.
According to the draw carried out by the
JNE, the sections will be organized as follows:
1. Peru of the Bicentennial
2. Health and pandemic management
3. Economy and job promotion
4. Education, science, and innovation
5. Fight against corruption and public integrity
6. Human rights, social policies, and assistance to vulnerable populations
The format will also feature open dialogue: it will start with a three-minute presentation of each candidate and continue with questions and answers linked to each section's main topic.
Likewise, as is traditional in
JNE debates, there will be a space for citizen questions. Thus, some people will ask two questions per each thematic axis.
Lastly, candidates will be given the opportunity to deliver a closing statement.
