Peru: Defense Ministry laments death of FAP pilot, expresses condolences

The Ministry of Defense on Friday expressed condolences to the relatives and friends of Peruvian Air Force (FAP) Major Ramiro Rondon Medina, who died recently when the aircraft he was piloting crashed in Arequipa region, southern Peru.

The ministerial portfolio deeply laments the passing of the aforementioned officer, whom it describes as a "brave member of the FAP."

"The Ministry of Defense expresses its deepest condolences to the relatives and friends" of the deceased aviator, reads a message posted on its official social media channels.


The remains of the aircraft, as well as the body of the 35-year-old pilot, were found today, thus putting an end to any hope of survival.
