The Cabinet member indicated that this area is among the most vulnerable during the annual rainy season, which is why authorities are reviewing progress made to date and identifying pending actions.
Minister Diaz also highlighted the coordinated efforts among the institutions involved to address this issue.
"The key is to verify conditions in the same locations and sectors, allowing us, within the planning already under way, to identify remaining gaps and areas where we can contribute," he told TVPeru.
