on Friday reported that the COVID-19 vaccination card will remain mandatory for people over 18 years of age who intend to enter closed spaces or conglomerates —with the exception of workspaces.
This measure applies to spaces such as shopping malls, markets, supermarkets, sports association venues, entertainment venues (clubs, pubs, and similar ones), banks, concerts, theaters, cinemas, gyms, churches, restaurants, and other establishments.
Passengers aged above 12
Those who have not completed the required doses, according to their age, must present a negative molecular test result no longer than 48 hours before boarding.
Meanwhile, those under 12 years of age only need to be asymptomatic to board.
For their part, foreigners who do not reside in Peru, but whose final destination is located in the national territory, must have received the vaccine —in accordance with the scheme valid in their origin country.
