Peru: Council of Ministers assesses measures to strengthen citizen security

Under the leadership of the President of the Republic Dina Boluarte, the Council of Ministers on Monday debated measures to strengthen citizen security.

The debate took place during a new Council of Ministers session held on Monday at the Government Palace in Lima.

The session also analyzed the extradition process of Wanda del Valle Bermudez and Alvin Vargas, members of the criminal organization Tren de Aragua (The Aragua Train).

In addition, participants discussed actions to boost the country's economy, including strategies to increase tourist flows.

The Council of Ministers, which takes place every Monday, included the participation of Prime Minister Alberto Otarola, Defense Minister Jorge Chavez Cresta, Labor-Employment Promotion Minister Daniel Maurate, among others.
