Peru's Consulate General in the Chinese city of Guangzhou set up exhibition booths at the
Guangzhou —capital of Guangdong Province— is considered the economic heart of China and the area with the highest contribution to its national GDP over the last 30 years.
The Consulate General's participation was aimed at promoting the great potential of the Inca country's exportable supply to the Chinese market, such as
grapes,
avocados,
blueberries, mangoes, asparagus,
quinoa, and
coffee, among others.
It should be noted Peru is the Asian Giant's 9th largest
fruit supplier, with an enormous potential to continue growing in the next years.
