Peru: Congress Chairman receives protocol greeting from British Ambassador

Peruvian Congress Chairman Eduardo Salhuana received the protocol greeting from British Ambassador to Peru, Gavin Cook.

The diplomat stressed that the United Kingdom is willing to collaborate with Congress to share its extensive parliamentary experience in the framework of the return to bicameralism in the South American country.

In turn, the Parliament head expressed his willingness to continue strengthening relations between the two countries.

Salhuana heads Congress Board for the 2024-2025 period. He is joined by Patricia Juarez (Popular Force party) as First Vice-Chair, Waldemar Cerron (Free Peru party) as Second Vice-Chair, and Alejandro Cavero (Go on Country party) as Third Vice-Chair.

The Parliament Chairman belongs to Alliance for Progress party and represents Madre de Dios region.
