Peru confirms October friendly against U.S.

The Peruvian Soccer Federation (FPF) on Friday confirmed the Inca side will play a friendly match against the United States on October 16.

The game will be held at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field East Hartford, Connecticut.

Before facing the American team, the red-white squad will clash with its Chilean counterpart on October 12 at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.

Said matches mark the third and fourth games of the Peruvian team after their World Cup participation.

As is known, the Netherlands claimed a 2-1 victory against Peru on Thursday at Amsterdam-based Johan Cruyff Arena.

Peru will next face Germany in Sinsheim on September 9 at 8:45 PM (local time).
