Thousands of citizens gathered in various public squares throughout Peru last Sunday to pay tribute to two young protesters who died during Saturday's demonstrations in Downtown Lima.

Two young men died as a result of pellet shots to their bodies during said protests. In addition, there were several injured and missing people.

The first fatality was 22-year-old Jack Bryan Pintado Sanchez, who suffered gunshot wounds.

The second one, Inti Sotelo Camargo —aged 24 years— was admitted to a hospital with gunshot wounds to the chest at heart level.

Peruvians assembled in various parts of the country and demonstrated peacefully against the above-mentioned deaths.

Moreover, protesters voiced concern over the missing people and demanded a prompt solution to the political crisis in the South American nation.
