The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appointed Ambassador Hugo de Zela as the Permanent Representative of Peru to the Organization of American States (OAS) in Washington D.C.

Within this framework, the corresponding credentials and full powers will be granted to the diplomat.

His appointment was made official via Supreme Resolution No. 132-2020-RE, published Saturday in the Official Gazette El Peruano.

The resolution bears the signature of President Manuel Merino and Minister of Foreign Affairs Franca Deza.
