has congratulated the Peruvian Government for its decision to move towards Universal Health Care aimed at reducing inequalities and existing gaps for four million citizens residing in Peru, who do not rely on any health insurance.
"Colleagues, history shows that universal access to health and universal health coverage are goals that can truly be achieved," she emphasized.

"Without the necessary resources, it is impossible to ensure the access to
health services," she noted.
Likewise, the director said that great innovation is needed for the organization of health systems to reduce the existing fragmentation.
