Peru received a batch of 2,387,600 vaccines against COVID-19 from the Chinese company Sinopharm. The doses will serve to accelerate the immunization of the population.
"(…) this batch is part of the 8,000,000 (doses) directly acquired by the Peruvian Government," the Ministry of Health (Minsa)
said via Twitter.
Minsa officials supervised the arrival of this new shipment at Jorge Chavez International Airport on Saturday evening. It will be distributed across all Peruvian regions as soon as possible.
