U.S. born actress Michelle Rodriguez was surprised after receiving a gift —an Andean-styled bag— during an interview granted to a Peruvian reporter.
Rodriguez, who plays Letty in "Fast and Furious 8," could not stop highlighting the millenary and mystical culture of Peru.
The artist is not new to our culture's richness as she has visited the Andean country twice to become part of a documentary about wonderful Machu Picchu citadel. The role allowed her to get in touch with Peruvian culture.
"The truth is Peru has such a wonderful and spiritual story. Just by talking about this country, I feel extraordinary," Rodriguez said after receiving the Andean gift from the journalist.
The 38-year-old has been playing Letty Ortiz throughout the saga.
In this sense, the Latino actress affirmed she would love her character to stop suffering. "I'd rather like her to smile, to show other feelings," she told the Fanaticos del Cine reporter.
Concerning the saga, she assured two more stories will come ahead adding the "moon could be the next location."
"Fast and Furious 8" stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Charlize Theron, Elsa Pataky, Tyrese Gibson, Kurt Russell and Jason Statham, among others.
The movie opens in Peru and the U.S. on April 13 and 14, respectively.
