Lima 2019: Peru's Hilario wins gold at Parapan American Games

Peruvian Para athlete Israel Hilario won a gold medal in Para cycling road's Men's Time Trial C1-5 Finals at Lima 2019 Parapan American Games on Friday.

Thus, the host country claimed its second gold prize in the mega-sports event.

The national sportsman reached the first place with a time of 40:19.951.

He was followed by Brazilian Lauro Moro (41:18.624) and Colombian Diego Dueñas (41:54.071).

The event took place at San Miguel Circuit.
