Health Min: 700,000 Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines to arrive in Peru on May 13

A new batch of 700,000 Pfizer vaccines against coronavirus will land in Peru this Thursday, Health Minister Oscar Ugarte confirmed on Wednesday.


Via Twitter, the Cabinet member specified that the doses will arrive at Jorge Chavez International Airport tomorrow at 6:05 p.m. (local time) on a KLM airline cargo flight.

"We are satisfied because it is the first time that such amount of doses will land in our country on a single day," he stressed.



Additionally, he insisted on requesting the elderly population to attend vaccination centers on their scheduled dates.
