Peru's national soccer team coach Ricardo Gareca on Thursday named his 23-man squad for the
2019 Copa America in Brazil.
With the announcement of the
men's national team roster, everything is ready to start training next Monday under the direction of the head coach.
The Incas will play Costa Rica in one of their two friendlies before the Copa America gets underway in June. The match will take place June 5 in the Peruvian capital.
The second friendly —scheduled for June 9— will be against Colombia, also in Lima.
On June 12, Gareca's men will leave for Porto Alegre to prepare for their debut at the continental tournament.
