on Thursday indicated that the transfer of Peruvians from Ukraine will be carried out in small groups, because that strategy is more efficient to bring them home as soon as possible.
In this sense, the official indicated that the necessary costs of transfer, accommodation, and food are assumed by the Honorary Consulate in Kiev, as well as by the Mobile Consulate in Lublin and the Consulate in Warsaw upon arrival in Poland.
"What we are doing is sending small groups because it is much more efficient to bring them home as soon as possible; each small group will be sent by our consulate; first, those that we can send by train or bus to Warsaw," Ambassador Masana explained.
"Everything changes fast, and we must make quick decisions to ensure that our fellow citizens are safe," she added.
Similarly, she indicated that —so far— 291 Peruvians have been registered at the Kiev-based consulate. Nonetheless, this number could increase to 320, adding that even some tourists managed to leave Ukraine.
The official urged fellow citizens to register at the Peruvian consulates based in various cities around the world when they leave their homeland so that, in situations like this, they can be contacted either by phone or at the address where they will stay.
Lastly, she reminded fellow Peruvians the way to communicate with the consulates overseas:
Honorary Consulate in Kiev (Ukraine): (0038) 050 332 2765. Contact person: Juan Olivas.

In addition, she mentioned the helpline of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: (+511) 2043279.
