BCR: Peruvian economy to recover in 2021

Peru's economic recovery in 2021 would result in a GDP expansion rate between 4.0% and 9.0%, while in 2022 it would grow between 4.0% and 4.5%, the Central Reserve Bank (BCR) has reported.

Based on the results of the Macroeconomic Expectations Survey, Peru's GDP is expected to decline between 12.6% and 10.0% in 2020.


Last November, expectations of one-year ahead GDP growth rose to 7.2% versus the 5.3% estimated in the previous month.
