The President of the Republic, Jose Maria Balcazar, said on Tuesday that his administration is committed to unblocking stalled projects nationwide for the benefit of Peruvians.

The Head of State held a meeting with authorities from Huancavelica region.

At this event, the top official expressed his administration's commitment to prioritizing attention to urgent projects and needs in that jurisdiction.

The President underscored that this political will also extends to the other Peruvian regions.

During the dialogue with Huancavelica authorities, attention to projects in education, hospitals, and provincial roads under construction or with technical files was addressed.

"We place ourselves at your service. Regarding stalled projects, we will work day and night," Balcazar said.

The meeting was attended by Huancavelica Region Governor Leoncio Huayllani, as well as mayors from provinces such as Acobamba and Castrovirreyna, among others. They outlined the importance of ensuring continuity of strategic projects for regional development.

Authorities noted that Huancavelica has recorded a historic 14% reduction in child malnutrition, in addition to no longer ranking at the bottom of national poverty indicators and working with a macroregional vision on key issues such as water and agro-exports.
