Cumbia and salsa will come together for a night destined to make history. Hermanos Yaipén and Son Tentación—two of the most iconic groups in the Peruvian music scene—will share the stage for a show featuring over seven hours of music, dancing, and hit songs.

The event will take place on December 17th at the Concha Acústica in Campo de Marte, in the district of Jesús María, in the capital city of Lima.

Attendees can look forward to an evening packed with rhythm, flair, and songs that are woven into the musical history of thousands of Peruvians. Tickets are now on sale via Joinnus.com.

Walter Yaipén, musical director of the renowned northern Peruvian ensemble, stated that the concert will be a chance to showcase the enduring relevance of cumbia and the deep affection the public holds for their music.

He also promised that Hermanos Yaipén will arrive full of energy, with a setlist that spans both their greatest hits and their latest releases.

“Cumbia isn’t just a passing trend; it has held a place in people’s hearts for years. And while we have great respect for salsa, I believe the audience has always been very receptive to our music. We’re bringing all the songs people love, along with our newest material,” the artist remarked.

Without a doubt, tracks such as "A llorar a otra parte," "Lárgate," "Necesito un amor," the "Juan Gabriel Mix," "Tendría que llorar por ti," "Una rosa lo sabe," and "Tirana"—among many others—are sure to be some of the most-sung-along-to moments of the night.

Meanwhile, Son Tentación—one of the most renowned all-female salsa groups in Peru—is set to show why their music has become a staple of Peruvian celebrations and gatherings every weekend.

Paula Arias, the group’s leader, highlights the enduring relevance of salsa as one of the most popular and beloved genres among the public. With this in mind, the ensemble has prepared a repertoire that brings together some of the most iconic songs from their career.

Tracks such as "Soltera.com," "Amiga mía," "Déjala," "Tu falta de querer," "Adicto a ti," and "Mix Cortavenas," among others, are part of the musical lineup with which Son Tentación aims to win over the audience and get everyone in attendance dancing.
