Peru: President leads Council of Ministers session

The President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti and Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez led a new session of the Council of Ministers on Wednesday morning.

At such events, the Executive Branch evaluates and coordinates measures to be implemented for the benefit of the population.

The session took place at the Government Palace in Lima.

Earlier today, in an interview, the President requested Congress to make a new agrarian promotion law soon, ensured absolute neutrality in the 2021 general elections, and confirmed that the first batch of COVAX Facility vaccines is slated to arrive in the first quarter of next year.
