The Seventh National Preparatory Investigation Court imposed 18 months of preventive detention on Vladimir Cerron Rojas for the crime of aggravated collusion.

This measure will be enforced once he is located and arrested, the Judiciary reported via its social media channels on Monday evening.

For its part, the Public Ministry reported that the Supraprovincial Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (2nd Office) secured 18-month preventive detention against Cerron Rojas.

The former Junin region governor is under investigation for the crimes of aggravated illicit association and aggravated collusion in the Antalsis case, for which his location and capture have been ordered.

The measure was issued after it was confirmed that Cerron Rojas had breached the rules of conduct by failing to attend the monthly biometric control and by changing his address without  judicial authorization.
