"Every June 24, Peru celebrates Inti Raymi, one of the most emblematic expressions of our ancestral heritage. This festival honors the greatness of the Inca culture; it also invites us to reconnect with our roots, our history, and the pride of belonging to a nation of incomparable cultural richness," it said on X.
Inti Raymi is the largest celebration of Cusco's jubilee month and one of the most important events on Peru's tourism calendar, drawing hundreds of visitors every year.
