Peru: Agro-exports totaled US$2.22 billion in first two months of 2026, up 6.7%

Peru continues to post strong growth rates in agricultural exports to international markets. The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri) reported on Monday that agricultural exports reached US$2.22 billion in the first two months of this year (January-February), a 6.7% increase compared with sales recorded in the same period of 2025.

Peru: Country risk down to 125, below region's average

The country risk —measured by the EMBIG Peru spread— decreased 4 basis points (bps) from 129 to 125 between April 8 and 15, the Central Reserve Bank (BCR) reported.
