Peru's top striker and captain Paolo Guerrero on Thursday joined fellow national team members, who are gathered in Austria before playing their last two pre-World Cup matches against Saudi Arabia and Sweden.
The athlete arrived smiling as he was greeted with gratitude by the delegation members. He was first
welcomed by coach Ricardo Gareca, who seemed happy for the captain's return.
The forward was joined by Peruvian Soccer Federation (FPF) President Edwin Oviedo on the occasion.
Peru will face Saudi Arabia in the Swiss city of St. Gallen on June 3 at 7:00 PM (local time). Then, it will travel to Gothenburg to face Sweden on June 9 at 6:15 PM (local time).
