Peru's national soccer team arrived in Switzerland before playing friendly matches as preparation for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.
The charter plane carrying the red-white squad landed at Zurich Airport on Thursday morning.
Amid joy and cheers, the athletes were welcomed by a large number of Peruvians residing in the European country, as well as fans who follow the team on its journey to
soccer's mega event.
The Peru-Saudi Arabia match will be held in St. Gallen on June 3 at 7:00 PM (local time).
Then, they will travel to Gothenburg to face Sweden on June 9 at 6:15 PM (local time).
The Incas' first game will be played against Denmark (June 16). Then, they will clash with France (June 21) before facing Australia (June 26).
