Russell Crowe: "Well done Peru, way too good today"

Renowned New Zealander actor Russell Crowe did not hesitate to praise the Peruvian national team after its 2-0 World Cup win over Australia and said Peru did way too good today.

The actor let Twitter followers know that the Peru-Australia clash was particularly impressive.

"Australia had the longest road to qualify in the history of the World Cup, 22 games to make the tournament. Congratulations to the team and the admin, what a ride. Well done Peru, way too good today," he tweeted on Tuesday.

In another tweet, Crowe admitted he was impressed by one of the goals scored by the Incas. "Awesome goal Peru!" he added.

As is known, Peru claimed tickets for the World Cup tournament in the qualifying playoffs last November.
