Peru's top striker Paolo Guerrero on Tuesday traveled from Brazil to Switzerland in order to present his defense to FIFA's Disciplinary Committee soon.

As is known, the 33-year-old athlete was suspended for 30 days for producing abnormal doping test result after a goalless draw against Argentina at the Qualifiers.

"I'm fine and calm. Now I have to prove my innocence. I'm very optimistic because I didn't do anything wrong," the Flamengo star said before taking a plane.

It must be noted the athlete will address FIFA on November 30.

FIFA's Disciplinary Committee may determine —on the same day— if the provisional suspension is lifted.

As is known, Guerrero is considered Peru's top striker due to his amazing performances while defending the national team.
