Peru's soccer team on Tuesday landed in Ekaterinburg to face its French counterpart in their second Group C match at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.

Prior to the trip, the red-white squad held its third training session at Arena Khimki in Moscow.

On that occasion, Peruvian players Renato Tapia and Andre Carrillo did not take part in the workouts.

It must be noted Pedro Aquino is likely to replace Tapia in the upcoming match.

This crucial game will be held at Ekaterinburg Arena on June 21 at 8:00 PM (local time).

Coached by Ricardo Gareca, the national team needs a victory to keep the hope alive of qualifying for the round of 16.

As is known, Denmark defeated Peru last Saturday in Saransk. This match marked the Incas' return to a World Cup tournament after 36 years.

For its part, France managed to beat Australia (2-1) in both sides' World Cup group stage opener.
