President of Peru invited to participate in female leaders' forum in Hungary

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte received the invitation from her Hungarian counterpart, Katalin Novák, to participate in an international female leader's forum, which will take place in Budapest in October next year.

The two presidents met within the framework of the 78th UN General Assembly held in New York City, U.S.

The Peruvian Head of State arrived in Lima on Thursday morning from the United States, where she participated in a series of activities at the UN headquarters affirming that Peru has a stable economy that is open to investment.

Moreover, the top official reiterated the call to defend institutions, respect human rights, and defend policies to mitigate the effects of climate chance.


The Secretary-General and the Peruvian Head of State addressed the reform of the international financial system, as well as the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
