President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski's trip to Europe will become an opportunity to draw European investments into the Andean country, Peru's Second Vice-President Mercedes Araoz affirmed.
As is known, the Head of State will travel to
France and Spain, where he will participate in a series of official activities on June 6-14.
According to the official, Mr. Kuczynski's presidential tour will serve to get attention from European investors, as well as show Peru's economic soundness in the Old Continent.
Likewise, Araoz underlined the Inca nation has proven to be a country relying on financial stability.
In this sense, she added "this trip opens up Peru's possibilities to become a center of attraction for European investments."
Lastly, the also-congresswoman highlighted the importance of the Peruvian Head of State's presence at the coming Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's (
OECD)
meeting.
As is known, Peru intends to become a full
OECD member.
