On Sunday, the Peruvian President Ollanta Humala participated in the Air Force and Naval Review held along the Lima coast to commemorate the 194th Anniversary of the Independence of Peru.
Upon beginning, the Head of State authorized the corresponding troop review via videconference held with the Commander in charge of the frigate known as the “BAP Villavicencio”.
Units, property of the Peruvian Army, Navy and the Air Force carried
out joint military exercises. Likewise, weaponry and uniforms were
exhibited.
The ceremony was attended by State Ministers, First Lady Nadine Heredia and Lima residents, who arrived in the districts located closest to the sea to witness the civic patriotic event.
